Amendments were made to the legislation on the procedure for sending notifications on construction and installation works to the bodies of the State Construction Supervision Authority

Decree of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 12.11.2019 No. 758 “On Amending the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated May 8, 2018 No. 343” (hereinafter - decision No. 758) amended the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated May 8, 2018 No. 343 "On the procedure for sending notifications of construction and installation works."

According to paragraph 2, Decree No. 758 shall enter into force after official publication. On the National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Belarus, the resolution No. 758 was officially published on 11/15/2019 (No. 5/47325), and will enter into force on 11/16/2019.

Changes to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 08.05.2018 No. 343 were made in the form of editorial corrections, supplementing paragraph 5 of the Regulation on the procedure for sending notifications on construction and installation works (hereinafter referred to as the Regulation) with the following paragraph: “amending construction contracts, concerning the timing of the start and completion of construction of facilities. ”.

Appendix 1 “Notification of the start of construction and installation works” and Appendix 2 “Notice of the resumption of construction and installation works” to the Regulation are set out in a new edition. The appendices are supplemented with a paragraph as follows: “The date of commencement of construction under a construction contract __________, the standard term for the construction of an object is ________ months.”
