In the framework of studying foreign experience in construction of objects and the implementation of state construction supervision, representatives of the Department of Construction Control and Supervision and Inspections of the Department from December 10 to 13, 2018 took part in the business program “Control and Supervision in the Construction Sector of Latvia. Ecological construction and rational design (Republic of Latvia, Riga. "

A business meeting was held at the State Construction Monitoring Bureau of Latvia with the director of the Bureau, Svetlana Myakushkina, and the deputy director, Maris Demme.

The process of regulation of the construction sector in Latvia, the system of supervisory authorities in construction, industry standards, the functions of participating institutions and the daily work of construction inspectors were studied.

During the meeting, Latvian colleagues familiarized themselves with the BIS information system currently being implemented, which provides for the possibility of interaction between construction participants by submitting documents electronically, as well as real-time tracking in detail all the stages of the construction process and subsequent operation of the facilities.

On the way to the place, the construction process in Latvia was studied using the example of the largest object in Riga at present - the multifunctional shopping center Acropole.

The experience gained during participation in business programs will be used by the Gosstrojnadzor authorities in the exercise of their functions at the facilities under construction in Belarus.
